04.21.09John TavaresOver a very dull and quiet Winter, I was given a great assignment from Toronto Life to photograph the Tavares family, and feature their son, the 18-year-old hockey phenom, John. He’s on track to be the number one pick at this spring’s NHL draft, and is the continual talk of the hockey world. 04.10.09Roger Ballen Artist’s Talk and Book SigningLast Wednesday, we had the pleasure of having Roger Ballen in town to give a talk at the OCAD concerning his new book: Boarding House. The event was well attended, and it was great to see many of my favorite photo industry friends there as well. There are few of these quality photography events in the city (wake-up Contact!), and it was a real pleasure to share it with my contemporaries.
