12.16.09Newsflash: CTC wins Marketer of the YearCongratulations to the Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC), for winning "Marketer of the Year" kudos from Marketing Magazine. However, they failed to mention a giant high five that needed to be awarded to Asymetric, who were the production bones of this award. Asymetric commissioned me to help shoot this campaign over the summer, and everyone else who was involved should be very proud of their contributions to their early success. Boom!

07.13.09Supercreative09bI just found out recently that my pitch for Supercreative09b has been selected for production! I'm very psyched to work with all the bright minds and creative forces behind this operation: Andrew at Capture Management & Production, Peter at Lucky Boy Productions, Donna from Donna Irvine, and Steve at Pinpoint Locations. I've got a great creative planned, and as I don't want to spoil the surprise, I can't help but share a little idea of what I've got in store. 05.12.09Applied Arts AwardsAh award season. You surprise, lionize, annoy, and truly make us all feel like we're back in public school, imploring you for approval. Well, I won my first two Applied Arts Awards this week, and I'm pretty pleased with them. The first one is for my "Hillcrest Motel" series that I shot last winter. The second award was for my "A Moment Before" series that I shot over the last year. Thanks again to Full Serve Productions, Joneshouse, Jordana Maxwell, all the models & actors, and my assistants for helping pull these off.

11.30.08A little recognition…Last week, the Advertising & Design Club of Canada awarded me a Merit award for my portrait work "Growing Up in Cambridge Bay", for the Walrus magazine. The entire photo essay can be seen here. It stands as my touchstone editorial assignment, and I'm very grateful for the recognition from the ADCC. Many thanks and love to Bree & Antonio of the Walrus for the comission.
